R.I.P. Estelle Bennet, fundadora de las Ronettes

Mierda. El pasado 11 de febrero, a los 67 años, murió Estelle, la hermana de Ronnie Spector y tercio de las Ronettes. Aunque suene a cliché, siempre nos quedarán sus canciones.

ANDREW BIRD

Andrew Bird alcanzó cierto reconocimiento a mediados de los 90 como violinista de los Squirrel Nut Zippers, banda que se dedicaba a reinterpretar el Swing. Posteriormente, en solitario, ha editado varios discos como cantante, violinista y silvador profesional. Su anterior disco Armchair Apocrypha me gustó bastante por lo que hoy les traigo su último trabajo Noble Beast, a ver que les parece. Me ha costado bastante encontrar un link que no esté roto, les dejo uno a megaupload, si dejara de funcionar avisen y trataré de solucionarlo.

Tim Sale

Ya he vuelto, Tim Sale, último descubrimiento en cuanto a comics se refiere, dibujante harto conocido en los estates (es el que creaba los dibujos de Heroes)y pieza clave en el tandem que forma con Jeph Loeb, este neoyorquino ganador en alguna ocasion del premio Eisner tiene una forma de dibujar-diseñar muy característica y detallista, recomiendo The Long Halloween de Batman, una maravilla.
